Qi nutrition five day residential training

Trill Farm, Dorset November 9-14th 2012
with Daverick Leggett & Graeme McCracken

For those of you who missed the opportunity to join our Spring course we now have new autumn dates for our five day residential training in Qi Nutrition. This course is designed for all those with a strong interest in nutritional healing and will be especially useful for tcm professionals and students.

This course will enable you to apply the principles of Qi Nutrition both in your own life and in clinical practice with clients. Taking place on a working 400 acre organic farm with a large teaching kitchen, this is the only course of its kind in the UK. Our approach is highly experiential, fully integrating theory with practice. From day one you will be hands-on in the kitchen cooking and designing meals for a wide range of conditions. Each day will include Qigong, lectures in theory, tasting, gathering of cultivated and wild foods, cooking, making stocks and teas, recipe design based on tcm principles, case studies and lots of eating!

By the end of the week you will be able to effectively guide your clients towards healing and return home with new inspiration for your kitchen and a fully embodied understanding of Chinese medicine’s approach to nutrition.

The course is accompanied by substantial course notes and a certificate of completion at its close. There are four members of our teaching team and a maximum of eighteen participants. Our venue is Trill Farm in Dorset, a few miles from Axminster.

Led by Daverick Leggett, author of Recipes for Self Healing and Helping Ourselves, who teaches throughout Europe; and Graeme McCracken, experienced acupuncturist and tuina practitioner. Both Daverick and Graeme also teach Qigong and have many years of experience growing and cooking food. Emma Sampson is our wild food specialist who will lead daily foraging expeditions and Megan Williams is our kitchen manager. Four food-lovers in one kitchen…..a glorious venue….a unique training….do you want to join us?
